Madonna, aged 64, was discovered unresponsive and immediately transported to a hospital in New York City on Saturday. She received intubation treatment overnight, but the tube has since been removed, and she is currently awake and in the process of recuperation.

As a consequence, Madonna has had to postpone her much-anticipated Celebration tour due to a “serious bacterial infection.”

Guy Oseary, Madonna’s manager, took to Instagram to share the news, reassuring fans that Madonna is expected to fully recover. Madonna’s health setback necessitated her stay in the intensive care unit in New York.

While her condition is improving, she is still under medical supervision. As a result, all tour commitments, including the Vancouver kick-off scheduled for July 15, have been postponed. The Celebration tour aimed to showcase the highlights of Madonna’s extraordinary four-decade-long career, spanning 35 cities in North America and Europe.

This tour was eagerly awaited, following her intimate Madame X run in 2019-2020. Madonna’s team will announce new tour dates for the rescheduled shows in the near future.
