Conservative commentator Candace Owens called out “pea-brained” NBA star LeBron James for inciting the hatred for police that led to two sheriffs being shot in Los Angeles on Saturday.
In a video, released by the LA County Sheriffs, a suspect can be seen walking up to a police SUV and firing through the passenger window unprovoked, before fleeing.
Owens slammed the idolization of “pea-brained celebrities” for the motive behind the shooting, specifically naming Los Angeles Lakers player Lebron James as responsible for telling “young black men that they are ‘literally being hunted.’”
Why does this happen? Because pea-brained celebrities that are idolized like @KingJames tell young black men that they are “literally being hunted”. This is the natural result of such hyperbolic, dishonest rhetoric.

In a May 6 tweet, James stated that “We’re literally hunted EVERYDAY/EVERYTIME we step foot outside the comfort of our homes,” in response to the killing of Ahmaud Arbery as he jogged through a Georgia neighborhood.

James has become the most outspoken social activist in the NBA, creating the “More Than a Vote” initiative with a group of athletes to combat Black voter suppression and leading a player boycott of the playoffs after the Jacob Blake police shooting.
The league itself has been on the forefront of BLM demonstrations in professional sports, with players kneeling on courts painted with “Black Lives Matter,” wearing black shirts with the same phrase.
Owens criticized professional athletes for supporting Blake, who was charged with felony sexual assault, by putting “the name of an alleged RAPIST on their helmets and jerseys,” which she believes has the consequence of causing criminals to “begin believing they are acting as heroes.”

She also extended her blame to entertainers, “complicit media organizations,” and Black Lives Matter for creating a “racist, anti-police” rhetoric that left two deputies critically wounded after they were ambushed in Compton on Saturday night.
Protesters congregated outside of the hospital the 31-year-old woman and 24-year-old man were being treated, shouting “We hope they die.”
President Trump condemned the shooter at his Nevada rally on Sunday. “If you murder a police officer, you should receive the death penalty.” He called the shooter “an animal,” and tweeted, “If they die, fast trial death penalty for the killer.”

I watched this video several times and it seems the shooter was shorter than the height of the car. It looks like a Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor that measures 4-feet, 10-inches high. And the escape reminds one of a little person, midget perhaps or pre-adolescent.
