Rapper Kanye West scandalized Democrats when he used an audio track of Vice President Kamala Harris during a listening event for his new album Donda 2

A sound clip of Harris congratulating President Joe Biden on their election win preceded the song Louis Bags. Rapper Jack Harlow and dancers dressed in all black circled around a flooded replica of West’s childhood home.

West paced in shallow water as Harris could be heard saying: “We did it. We did it, Joe. You’re going to be the next president of the United States.” The sound bite was lifted from a video Harris uploaded to Twitter, of herself celebrating on the phone with Biden.

Liberals were disgusted by the stunt, and accused West of trolling Harris. Occupy Democrats, a progressive political organization, lashed out at the rapper ons social media.

“Infamous pro-Trump rapper Kanye West samples Kamala Harris’ viral “We did it Joe!” soundbite during his new album livestream in apparent mockery of the vice president. RT IF YOU THINK KANYE IS AN IGNORANT FOOL!” The account posted

“Kanye is a moron,” one Twitter user replied. “God you make it hard to support you,” another wrote.

“Waiting for Kanye to drop an album called Russian Dropout,” snarked one tweeter. “He’s bound to come out pro Putin any minute,” a user tacked on.

West, who ran in the 2020 election as an independent from his own Birthday Party, took a swipe at Harris back in November, while jabbing at rival rappers Pusha T and Drake.

“You know Pusha [T] voted Democrat—voted for Kamala—we ain’t seen her since the election either,” West joked, adding that the votes revealed, “They got 94 [percent] of the black female vote, you would have thought Drake was running.”

In the same interview West revealed that despite running against him, he was still a Trump supporter. “I’ve still got a red hat on today, I’ll let y’all know that,” he said. “I might not got it on [at the moment] but I’ll let y’all know where I stand.”
