Horror writer Stephen King took a swing at Trump that was a “serious miscalculation” with Twitter.
On Tuesday he implied that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was a mistake with President Joe Biden helming the White House.
“Mr. Putin has made a serious miscalculation,” the “Pet Cemetery” scribe tweeted. “He forgot he’s no longer dealing with Trump.”

King was battered on the social media platform for the statement. “The world and the US was in a better place when Trump was President, sorry he hurt your feelings,” wrote one commenter. “Still time to delete this and stick to writing books,” added another.
“Yes when I think of Biden I think strength and power,” one user captioned above a video of First Lady Jill Biden guiding the fragile looking president away from a podium by the hand.

“Or maybe… just maybe… Putin never tried this with Trump precisely because it would not have worked? Or are you really too stupid to understand that?” someone jeered.
“Obama is in office and Putin invades Crimea. Trump is in office and Putin invades no one. Biden is in office and Putin invades Ukraine. Do you see the pattern?” Another questioned.
After taking a day of abuse King posted, “What most of us learned as kids on the playground: You don’t stand by while a big kid beats up a little kid. You might take a punch or two making the big kid stop, but that’s the right thing to do.”
But the keyboard warrior loves to take cheap shots. Last week he took aim at conservatives, tweeting: “Although Hillary Clinton lost by similar close margins in battleground states, there was no whining and no claims of rigged elections. In fact, the Trumpers liked it just fine. No complaints.”
Two days earlier, he went after Trump’s former press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, for posting a tribute to conservative Rush Limbaugh on the anniversary of his death.
