On Monday, news came down from the Murdoch media empire which shocked the world. Tucker Carlson, Fox News’ highest rated anchor and golden boy of conservative reporting, had left the network with immediate effect. As the news spread, talking heads were quick to react and many speculated why Carlson had been let go. Another former Fox anchor, Glenn Beck, made a prediction on his radio show that the departure of Carlson would kill the network.

“I think that’ll kill Fox, I really do,” Beck said. “I know so many people that still kinda like Fox, they watch other shows, but they’re like, Tucker is the only one I really trust. You lose Tucker Carlson, I think that really kills them.”

“You’re getting rid of Tucker Carlson? Wow. Letting him walk out the door even? Wow,” added an astonished Beck.

Watch his reaction upon hearing the breaking news:

Fox News will use rotating anchors to cover Carlson’s 8pm hour until a permanent replacement is named.

After leaving Fox in 2011, Beck founded the media company, The Blaze, and he even suggested that Carlson come work with him at his network.

“Tucker Carlson and I have become friends, and hopefully I’ll be able to talk with him today,” Beck said. “I don’t know what the situation is, but Tucker, come to Jamaica. We would love to have you here, you won’t miss a beat, and together, the two of us would tear it up, just tear it up.”

Could the two conservative heavyweights team up at TheBlaze? There is no doubt that Carlson will be coveted figure in conservative media.
