Liberal late night host Jimmy Kimmel actually covered Special Counsel John Durham’s allegations against Hillary Clinton’s campaign, but only to mock Donald Trump’s children.
“Trump’s terrible kids are making the rounds, desperately trying to protect the golden goose. Last night, Eric took time out of his busy schedule to promote this made-up Hillary Clinton spying case they’re now pumping into the Fox News viewers’ soft, oatmeal-like brains,” Kimmel said.
The show aired a clip of Eric Trump panning New York on Fox News for failing to prosecute Clinton.
“Hillary Rodham Clinton is a New York resident, let me just, kind of, you know, break that down for you. She lives in Chappaqua, New York, and guess where Trump Tower is located? It’s located on Fifth Avenue in New York,” he began.
“Where are these prosecutors? Where is the D.A.?” Trump questioned. “Isn’t that fraud? Isn’t that all sorts of offenses?”
Kimmel jeered at Trump for getting pitchy towards the end of the segment. “I never noticed what a voice he — why is Ivanka’s voice more masculine than Eric’s?”
“High Pitch Eric, you know,” Kimmel continued. “If you want to know where the prosecutors are, the answer is gathering evidence against your grifter father, that’s where they are.”
Clinton denied Durham’s allegations that her 2016 campaign paid a tech firm to “mine” internet data from Trump Tower in an attempt to tie Trump to Russia.
“Trump & Fox are desperately spinning up a fake scandal to distract from his real ones,” she wrote in a Wednesday tweet. “So it’s a day that ends in Y. The more his misdeeds are exposed, the more they lie.”
Clinton included a link to a Vanity Fair article titled: “You’ll never believe it but Hillary Clinton did not, in fact, spy on Trump’s White House,” for followers who are “interested in reality, here’s a good debunking of their latest nonsense.”
Former President Donald Trump called the accusations “Bigger than Watergate,” and blasted the mainstream media for ignoring the story.
“This in itself is a scandal, the fact that a story so big, so powerful, and so important for the future of our Nation is getting zero coverage from LameStream, is being talked about all over the world,” he said.
