Big & Rich country music star John Rich, who has never been shy about being a conservative, spoke out against fellow country singers that refuse to push back against the left’s political agenda.

“There are many conservative country music singers that just won’t say anything to push back against the ideologies that aim to erase what they care about. Why? You know why,” he tweeted Thursday morning. “I hope soon we see them start to speak up. The country music industry is out of touch with the audience.”

Unlike the country stars he slammed, Rich isn’t afraid of ruffling liberal feathers with his social media presence. In early June, he reflected on Dr. Fauci’s COVID email scandal, writing “How ‘bout ol Fauci? Funny how time proves who’s who. This snowball is just getting started.”

He was quick to call out Big Tech when Facebook revoked a ban on posts claiming the coronavirus was man-made.  “When Conservatives said what this article says they were de-platformed as ‘conspiracy theorists.’ When the left says it now, it’s headline news,” he wrote.
“I’m betting this is only the beginning of the truth wave heading our way. Ultimately, truth prevails. #BringIt.”

Rich criticized the media a day earlier for stoking the nation’s fear at the beginning of the pandemic with videos of foreign virus victims dropping in the streets and hazmat-suited first responders.  “Why did we never see these things happen in America? Or any other country? They needed to scare us as much as possible and it worked,” he said.

He attacked the woke movement days earlier for making the nation’s leaders weak patriots. “If the Greatest Generation would’ve had the same attitude as today’s ‘leaders’ we’d all be speaking German or living under the flag of Japan,” he commented. “Patton/MacArthur weren’t fueled by soy and wokeness. It was fierce patriotism and the willingness to die for America that saved the world.”

Rich perhaps expressed his frustrations best with a single tweet: “Conservatives are the new outlaws.”

I was amazed as well as a lot of people who believed Country music was real. It’s all fake. These assholes that want to protect their careers over protecting our Country. Shame on you. I listen to Heavy Metal and was just getting into Country. No more. You guys suck. Rich is cool. At least rock and roll stand up to tieranny. Well most of it anyway. You might want to remember what Country you are in and who buys your music. It won’t be me though.

And the same for Country singers as well as Hollywood Want to be Celebrities’! Don’t waste your money on their singing, or products they endorse, go out for a walk, go to the library and get a history book or learn how to paint a nice view…….lots of stuff to do instead of watching these idiots and mental midgets!

Good for John Rich. He seems to understand that owning or carrying a firearm does not define a person as evil or even dangerous. The gun does nothing unless the person makes it happen. As a comparison, peaceable, lawful persons use them two million times every year to defend themselves and others, while criminals use them only thousands of times, an infinitesimal fraction of defensive uses.

Two doops on a weapon. The one on it and the one behind it. The one behind it in most cases is the problem.

IF they don’t speak up and get their SH*T together. When this country is turned over to China country music will be replaced with Chinese working songs as too many Americans associate country music with American Patriotism. Then they will have to play Commie country music or be sent to a FEMA camp or shot. I understand their position, but that bucket is getting closer to the fan everyday. Won’t be long before they will have to chose sides. So all you Badass country singers better be deciding what’s it going to be.

Apparently some of the “stars” John is referring to will have to find out for themselves that the Leftists they are bowing to DON’T BUY or listen to their music! They need to step back and see how much “Selling out” has cost the NFL!! Anybody remember the Dixie Chicks??

While I agree that conservatives need to speak out more, I think they need to pick their venue carefully. When I turn on a football game , an NBA game or an awards show, I do so to be entertained not fo listen to someone give their opinion on the political climate in this country. Yes it is true that Hollywood has seemed to make it their mission to make political, and sometimes hateful statements on their awards shows. It is also true that viewership of these shows has dropped almost 50%. It is my hope that the country music shows keep it entertainment and stay away from making political statements. There are plenty of venues to discuss politics but fewer and fewer to just be entertained without the politics .

CMT and (most of) the Nashville crowd are true liberals now and they think that’s cool.
It’s fine if they want to make that choice but there is a consumer price to pay for it.

Rich….You are SO right!!!
Keep the faith and keep pushing for a bigger voice from Country Music. After all, these are the artist that have made Huge Careers from sing about America, Patriotisms, and our Veterans that have fought for all those things!!
So, time for them to put up or shut up, otherwise their hypocrisy will be clear for all to see!!!
