Oscar Winning actor Tom Hanks took aim at Americans who refused to wear masks to combat the Coronavirus, telling them ‘“Don’t be a p**sy.”

Actor Tom Hanks has joined the line of celebrities advocating for the wearing of face masks in public as the nation walks the line between social distancing and keeping the economy open in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hanks, who survived COVID-19 along with his wife Rita Wilson after they were both diagnosed with the virus while in Australia, said at a press conference that people need to do their part, which includes wearing a mask.
“There’s really only three things we can do in order to get to tomorrow: Wear a mask, social distance, wash our hands,” Hanks said while promoting his upcoming movie “Greyhound.”
“Those things are so simple, so easy. If anybody cannot find it in themselves to practice those three very basic things – I just think shame on you,” he added, as reported by People. “Don’t be a p***y, get on with it, do your part. It’s very basic. If you’re driving a car, you don’t go too fast, you use your turn signal, and you avoid hitting pedestrians. My Lord, it’s common sense.”
Hanks’ upcoming film ‘Greyhound,’ tells the story of an Allied convoy during the second world war attempting to cross the Atlantic while attempting to evade lethal German U-boats.

Despite what you all are saying about Tom Hank’s advice, he is right. The way the numbers are rising, you have to realize we are not doing enough to stop the spread. If it means wearing a mask, keeping the required distance and washing the hands – I am willing to do it all, and have been doing it. I owe it to my family, friends and all the over-worked medical staff in the hospitals. To not do as much as possible is selfish and self-serving. Come on, folks, you are not going to be happy if you get it, will you? Whatever it takes, do it. Wouldn’t want to hear your moaning and groaning if it hits you. You know, you are not infallible.

If I wear a mask and they really work why should I or anyone else care whether or not anyone else wears a mask? My concern is that we have been lied to about the efficacy of masks particularly the single layer cloth masks.
