The founder of SKIMS shapewear, Kim Kardashian, was left astonished by the testimonial of a devoted follower, Angelina Wiley, who attributed the life-saving aspect of the brand’s figure-enhancing bodysuit. The captivating narrative of Wiley emerged through a TikTok video, which Kardashian later shared on her Instagram account.

In the video, Wiley recalls her New Year’s Eve in Kansas City, when she was shot four times.

“Kim Kardashian saved my life. This New Year’s I got shot four times. The night I got shot, under my dress, I was wearing a SKIMS shaping bodysuit. It was so tight on me that it literally kept me from bleeding out,” Wiley revealed.

Over the weekend, Kardashian took to her Instagram page to share one of Angelina Wiley’s TikTok videos, accompanied by a caption simply stating, “Wow.”

Praising the bodysuit as a guardian for women, the wearer expressed admiration, likening it to impenetrable armor. She attributes the SKIMS shapewear to minimizing her bleeding and preventing more grievous harm, ultimately preserving her existence. Wiley’s distressing encounter culminated at the medical facility, unveiling the startling revelation of a bullet still embedded within her abdomen.

In the aftermath of her harrowing incident, Wiley initiated a GoFundMe campaign to alleviate the burden of her medical expenses, chronicling her arduous journey of physical impairment and profound post-traumatic stress disorder.

Since its inception in 2019 by Kardashian, SKIMS has attained an astonishing valuation surpassing $4 billion as of July 2023. This brand, intended to empower women, has unexpectedly garnered acclaim as a life-saving attire.
