Democratic nominee Joe Biden has taken a novel approach to presidential campaign strategy by dodging legitimate reporters to interview with rapper Cardi B, who was indicted on felony assault charges for a strip club brawl.
Critics were shocked that Cardi B, who has admitted to drugging and robbing men while she worked as a stripper, was the person Biden chose to have a seemingly pre-approved dialogue with, rather than an actual journalist.
Biden is even facing backlash from his liberal press allies, “Reporters are rightly calling out Biden for failing to hold a press conference in recent days,” said CNN’s Brian Stelter.

Biden uses the opportunity to get his daughter a meet and greet
Cardi opened the interview eloquently as ever: “Oh, snap. Is this real?”
Biden was quick to pull his daughter, who is a fan, in for a meet and greet. Cardi fluttered her inch and half long manicured nails in greeting, then Biden referred to himself as “Joey B”.
Cardi B opened a video chat with Joe Biden by asking: "Oh snap — is this real?"
Biden replied that she could call him Joe, or what his daughter called him when she was young: "Joey B."

The whole truth
Cardi wants “the hard-core truth” about the pandemic and claims President Trump has been lying about the nation’s coronavirus progress.
Biden conveniently knew that Franklin Rosevelt is one of Cardi’s favorite presidents, and responded with a quote: “The American people can take anything if you tell them the truth.”

Cardi complains about President Trump
She stated that “he’s really playing games,” about the evolution of pandemic protocols.
Biden was quick to blame young voters for not turning out in 2016. “If 18 to 24-year olds had voted in the same percentage as the rest of the population,” he began. “We wouldn’t have [Trump]; we would have had Hillary Clinton.

Biden side-steps commenting on Medicare twice
When Cardi brought up free Medicare, Biden pivoted towards after-school programs, which he claims to have raised $20 billion for, before funding was cut. “Everything was getting better – this was when crime was going down – so [people said] ‘We don’t have to pay for this anymore.’”
He avoided a second question about Medicare to compliment Cardi on her use of celebrity as a platform for awareness. “One of the things that I admire about you is that you keep talking about what I call equity – decency, fairness, and treating people with respect.” Biden clearly didn’t respect her enough to answer about Medicare.
Biden Attacks Trump
When Cardi stated that Black people want justice, Biden used her comment to attack President Trump. “He’s promoting hatred, prejudice, racism,” he accused. “This is all about the game of making people hate each other. Because that’s how he wins, by dividing us.”

When Cardi discussed encouraging her fans to vote, Biden responded that the people would turn out. “The American people have never, ever, ever let their country down. They’ve been battered by this president and the way he continues to divide. He appeals to their prejudice. He spews hate.“

Biden wants to fund free college
In response to Cardi’s comment about the ratcheting tension in the nation, Biden oddly responded with a comment on education: “If I get elected president, anybody with a family [that makes] less than 125 grand, you’re going to get a free education. And everybody gets free community college.”

Cardi how that would affect taxes
When tax time comes, Cardi said “Oh my gosh, I’m depressed, oh Lord, let me see my Birkin collection.” Then questioned how the government could provide free education and healthcare without huge tax hikes.
Biden began to charge after businesses, “No corporation should pay less than 15 percent tax.” But a staffer cut him off before he could continue his train of thought.
Imagine if they would have tried that stunt with a legitimate journalist.
Biden claims he’s never backtracked on promises
“Just check me out,” He stated. “I’ve never broken my word. Never in my life.” But he’s certainly no stranger to reversing his position on key policy issues.
In May, he said that China was no competition to the U.S. “China is going to eat our lunch? Come on, man.” But in June, he completely reversed his stance. “We are in competition with China,” he stated. “They are a serious challenge to us, and in some areas a real threat.”
