Day time talk show host Ellen Degeneres has now been diagnosed with Coronavirus.
DeGeneres, who has been under fire after a slew of sexual misconduct allegations rocked her show over the past several months, revealed the bad news on Twitter Thursday.
As The New York Post reports:
“Fortunately, I’m feeling fine right now,” she wrote. “Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper guidelines. I’ll see you all again after the holidays. Please stay healthy and safe. Love, Ellen.”
The reveal comes one day after BuzzFeed’s latest exposé on the host and her daytime series, which has reportedly suffered a dip in ratings, sponsors and support from A-listers following this summer’s accusations of a “toxic” workplace.

OK, so its a toxic workplace, so what do the employees want done? Fire Ellen from The Ellen Degeneres Show? If it is so horrible, tell HR, if HR doesn’t do anything about it either quit or deal with it, those are your choices. If Ellen leaves and the show ends you are out of work anyway, what is so difficult to figure out. Also, if you badmouth the star of the show publicly and the ratings go down you have a good chance of losing your job too. This is like the NBA where the players insult their fans and wonder why their ratings are down, I mean I know those guys didn’t get much of an education but someone should explain the direct correlation between fan support and their paycheck because they clearly don’t get it.
I wouldn’t quit and walk away. Take her down with you if you’re going to lose your job anway.
Maybe she’ll just die …..
