Former Fox News star Eric Bolling pulled back the curtain on what’s really going on at Fox News during an appearance at Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit.
Bolling claimed that staffers at the network are deeply worried by the network’s recent massive drop in ratings and the rise of pro-Trump competitors like Newsmax and OAN.
As The Daily Wire reports:
“Here’s what happened guys, let’s be honest with you… on November 3rd — Fox declared Biden the winner in Arizona. MAGA-world went ballistic, they said ‘I’m not watching Fox News,’ they switched over and they looked and they found Newsmax,” Bolling said.
Bolling then sparked rapturous applause among the TPUSA event attendees when he said that “Fox lost about 40% of their audience. 40%. That’s a big number.” In recent weeks, Fox has disputed such claims, pointing out that while some programs have dropped a third of their viewers since election night, they still still atop the cable news ratings.
Bolling then continued to discuss those who remain at Fox News who are concerned by the growing popularity of competitors such as Newsmax and OAN.
“I have friends still there that say they are very, very nervous about it, they’re sucking wind on it and they don’t know how to turn it around.”

I quit watching Fox on election night and never went back. I now watch Newsmax religiously each night as I used to do with Fox. I have sensed that Fox was going left for some time and election night proved it for me. Having one of the brother’s wives celebrate Trump’s loss was icing on the cake. Tucker Carlson’s rants on the election finished the job. Hannity – good luck because you are in a minority of one at Fox.
Glad to see you Eric Bolling, always enjoyed watching you. I stopped watching Fox, which had always been my favorite channel. The the negative remarks by certain hosts for the last 4 years about President Trump. Juan Williams, then they hired a corrupt Donna Brazille, Chris Mathews, Neil Cavuto, It just kept going. President Trump has been the best President in years. Yet they did not show any respect for him. There are more that has gone so liberal, we started looking for a more conservative station. The got rid of so many hosts we liked. I still watch Fox&Friends, Tucker, Hannity, Greg Gutfield. The early announcement was minor compared to the years of negative feelings about our President that at least deserves our respect!

I too stopped watching Fox, after election night. I’ll go back when they fire Paul Rhino and offer an apology to their viewers.
They “don’t know how to turn it around?” I’ve been telling real conservatives at Fox for years to “watch your back”. In other words, YOU CAN’T TURN IT AROUND! Fox is dead. They just don’t realize it yet. Newsmax will replace Fox in five years or less. The more the former Fox viewers try Newsmax, the faster it will spread that Newsmax is far superior to Fox. I haven’t watch one minute of Fox since the election, and I don’t miss it. Fox is definitely dead.

If Fox had not betrayed this nation and the American people and instead chose to become part of the corrupt lying biased fake news media they would have nothing to worry about. With you exceptions they were in constant attack mode against President Trump, his supporters and his family just like CNN and MSNBC, New York Times, Washington post, etc. Fox showed their true colors on election night when they chose to call the election when there wasn’t any stats and proof backing them up for what they were claiming. The only people I watch on Fox are Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham and Judge Jeanine Pirro.
It goes beyond the Election, which was like the ‘last straw’. Why? Because we get tired of the worthless babble from DemTards like Williams, Harf, Hahn, Marsh etc…their knowledge is so damn limited and they are nothing but puppets for the DNC. Do they not watch the news on their own channel – FOX? They repeat CNN talking points. I switch the channel when they open their mouths.
Fox completely forgot what made them great . . . . There are hosts that take over when a host is off for a few days and maybe they should replace those democrats in the afternoon, etc. And if FOX kicks off Judge Jeanine one more time because they don’t like what she says I am off.
