“Boston Public” star Michael Rapaport accused Brooklyn Nets power forward Kevin Durant of sending him threats in a heated social media exchange.
On Tuesday, the actor, who moonlights as a reporter on Fox Sports, posted a series of screenshots he alleged were from Durant. “I receive threats and disgusting messages DAILY, but never in my wildest dreams did I think @KDTrey5 would be among them,” Rapaport posted on Twitter. “The [snake emoji] himself is now threatening me, bringing up my wife and wants to fight. This is supposed to be America’s sweetheart right? #ImDaRealMVP.”
The feud began when Durant reportedly sent Rapaport his own tweet about the NBA star. “KD seemed deeply in his feelings with the @NBAonTNT crew after the fgame,” Rapaport’s tweet read. “DAMNIT he’s super sensitive about everything. Don’t do the interview.”
Below the tweet, Durant wrote: “U a b*tch.” Rapaport responded, “Just do the f**king interview & if your [sic] upset about something they’ve said SAY SOMETHING.” Then accused Durant of looking teary-eyed.
“Tell your baby daddy Chuck to be better at his job and frame his questions better,” Durant replied, “I swear ima [sic] spit in your face when I see your dirty a**.”
He then proceeded to goad Rapaport into a fight, asking for his address and trying to schedule a meet-up to throw down. Further into the exchange, Durant mocked the actor for filing a defamation suit against Barstool Sports for depicting him as a clown.
“Defamation of character?” Durant wrote, “Your wife mad as f**k cuz you wasting that little bit of money on lawyers cuz u can’t take a joke.”
Durant seemingly confirmed the exchange on Twitter Tuesday. “ Me and mike talk CRAZIER than this on the regular and today he’s pissed… My bad mike, d*mn!!”
Rapaport was not amused. “No we don’t P***y,” he rebuked. “Don’t ever threaten me or speak on my wife P***y.”
