Oliver Dassault, a well known French politicians and multi-billionaire died during a helicopter crash in Northwestern, France.
The 69 year-old Dassault was the heir of the massive Dassault fortune, which mostly stemmed from the family’s ownership of a company which makes aircraft.
As The New York Post reports:
A French politician who was one of the world’s richest people has died in a helicopter crash in northwestern France, authorities said.
Olivier Dassault, the 69-year-old heir of the family-owned Dassault Group, which makes Falcon private jets and Rafale fighter planes, died Sunday along with a pilot when an Airbus AS350 helicopter crashed just after takeoff from a private airfield in the town of Touques in Normandy, authorities said.
Investigators were traveling to the site Monday and a judicial inquiry for eventual manslaughter charges was underway, the Associated Press reported, citing the regional prosecutor’s office.
Dassault, a conservative who had served in France’s lower house of parliament since 2002, was listed as one of Forbes magazine’s top 500 richest people in 2020. He was tied for 335th at the time. Dassault’s net worth as of Monday was listed at $7.2 billion, Forbes reported.

Dassault was known for its civilian commercial Falcon series of passenger jets and its BEAUTIFUL Mirage jet fighters. It didn’t make whirlybirds.

We continue to hear about so many and frequent “accidents”, “suicides” and other “deaths”.. you have to be really dense not to see these people are part of the cabal and are either killing themselves or are being silenced so they don’t divulge the raw truth.. Often Europeans file manslaughter charges because “murder” isn’t applicable. But they have to blame SOMEONE – even the mechanic that didn’t tighten a bolt on the helicopter’s last maintenance.

Gut feelings thinks he had some “Help”. As an Ex-helicopter mechanic they don’t need much “help” to crash. We used to say: “A helicopter is 10,000 parts flying in formation and all trying to escape.” All it takes is one to escape and many others will follow. Hate to see any crash or people get hurt. Stuff Happens on regular basis.
