We’re tracking the conservative culture clash with woke Hollywood hypocrites to keep you up to date on who’s winning and who we hate.

 Here’s what happened today:

Media Mistrust

Actress Kirstie Alley blasted the media for finally acknowledging that coronavirus could have leaked from Wuhan lab, more than four months after the Mike Pompeo led State Department revealed that the government believed several lab researchers “became sick in autumn 2019.”

“Seriously???” Alley tweeted. ““It might be possible that COVID began in the Wuhan lab?”….. all over the news NOW????!!!! What a clever government we have.”

Dem Jokes

Boston radio icon Matt Siegel of “Matty in the Morning,” quit during a live show when his producer told him to stop joking about singer Demi Lovato coming out as non-binary.

“I’m against her binary thing; I think she’s a troubled woman and a lot of young people are taking her seriously and it bothers me,” Siegel said. “But of course, it’s a comedy show, so I did it in the context of jokes.”

“We were having fun with it, and my boss called up and said that I’d crossed the line and they didn’t want me talking about it anymore,” he went on. “I responded by saying, ‘If I can’t talk about what I’m thinking at this point in my career, I don’t want to be on the radio anymore.’”

He said today’s social climate is the reason his forty-plus-year radio career is about to wrap.

“Today I was anti wokeness and I can’t do that, so basically, what I’m told is, I can talk about light, funny things like where the Jonas Brothers are going to be….” He concluded. “But I can’t do what I really want to do, which is just be a funny comic and tell it like it is…. so I’m ending my portion of the radio show right now… It has been a hell of a run, but I think it’s coming to an end.”

Listen to him quit here:

RIP

“The Office” actor Mark York, who played Billy Merchant in the early seasons has died at 55. York, a paraplegic since the late ’80s, passed away at an Ohio hospital after an unexpected illness last week. The cause of death has not been released.

Dua’s Defense

Popstar Dua Lipa posted a scathing response to a full-page New York Times ad that accused her of being anti-Semitic for defending “Palestinian human rights.”

“I utterly reject the false and appalling allegations that were published today in the New York Times advertisement taken out by the World Values Network,” she tweeted. “This is the price you pay for defending Palestinian human rights against an Israeli government whose actions in Palestine both Human Rights Watch and the Israeli human rights group B’Tselem accuse of persecution and discrimination.”

The ”Levitating” singer accused the organization that took out the ad against her of blatantly misrepresenting her character to advance their campaign.

“I take this stance because I believe that everyone – Jews, Muslims and Christians – have the right to live in peace as equal citizens of a state they choose,” she continued. “The World Values Network are shamelessly using my name to advance their ugly campaign with falsehoods and blatant misrepresentations of who I am and what I stand for. I stand in solidarity with all oppressed people and reject all forms of racism.”

Mega Done

Rock band Megadeath booted bassist David Ellefson from the group after he was accused of grooming an underage fan and sending explicit images.

“We are informing our fans that David Ellefson is no longer playing with Megadeth and that we are officially parting ways with him,” Lead guitarist Dave Mustaine wrote in a statement. “While we do not know every detail of what occurred, with an already strained relationship, what has already been revealed now is enough to make working together impossible moving forward.”

Ellefson addressed his extramarital behavior with his affair partner in a since-deleted social media post, where she denied she was underage at the time. “Yes, those video calls did happen, but I was the one to initiate it and never was I underage, I was always a consenting adult. Nothing inappropriate ever happened before that. It was all consensual, I’m not a victim and I have not been groomed in the slightest as I was the one to initiate it,” the woman said.

On the Mend

Ryan Sutter, who won the first-ever “Bachelorette,” and is still married to the season’s star Trista Sutter, is getting better after suffering from mysterious lymphoma-like symptoms since last fall. “Things are looking up…” He wrote on Instagram.

“Maybe I picked a bad time to start my career over? Maybe I was too old, too broken, too confident, too selfish, too clueless? Maybe it was too much? Maybe I should’ve left well enough alone,” he contemplated. “Answers have unfolded in regard to my health and I am certain of my direction moving forward there.”

Extinct

A man died inside of a dinosaur statue after trying to retrieve his phone. Police discovered his body inside the leg of a papier-mache stegosaurus on Saturday, after a father and son noticed something was inside the statue.

Law enforcement reported that the man climbed through the dinosaur’s open mouth for unclear reasons, apparently dropped his phone, then plunged into the leg headfirst and got stuck. “It seems he was there for a couple of days,” a spokesperson said.
