‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Rankings Continue to Plummet Without Trump

The ratings for this season’s “New Celebrity Apprentice,” lead by Arnold Schwarzenegger, are down 42 percent in key demographics.

On Tuesday, the overnight ratings came out and showed that the series finale finished in fourth place among the top broadcasters in the 9 p.m. est. hour. Under the new host, the last show averaged a .9 rating in the 18-49 age demographic with just 3.4 million viewers, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The show, that went off air for 2 years after Trump announced his plans to run for office, never seemed to get its footing as viewers didn’t return for the new version of the reality show. Through the final week in January, the show’s live-plus-seven day averages were only 1.4 in the coveted demographic with 5.1 million viewers.

The finale also gave the show its lowest audience to date, according to another report. The winner of the night was ABC.
