Drena De Niro, the adopted daughter of actor Robert De Niro, recently used Instagram to reveal disturbing accusations surrounding the untimely death of her son. Responding to inquiries about the cause, she alleged that her son had been given pills tainted with a dangerous substance known as fentanyl. Shockingly, the person responsible was fully cognizant of the lethal nature of these pills. This incident reflects a growing trend in the United States, as Fentanyl-related deaths reached record highs in 2022. The COVID-19 lockdowns have exacerbated drug abuse in general, with a particular surge observed in Fentanyl-related cases.

Drena De Niro’s accusations appear to contradict previous reports that indicated authorities had found a powdery substance resembling cocaine near her son’s lifeless body. Nonetheless, she opted to pay tribute to her late son through a separate Instagram post. In this heartfelt message, she recounted the heart-wrenching experience of being driven to the funeral home by the very same individual who had joyfully picked them up from the hospital when her son was born. It culminated in a final farewell, where she tenderly touched and held her son for the last time.

Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, Drena De Niro’s son, was reportedly discovered deceased in his residence at the Cipriani Club Residences on Wall Street in New York. His lifeless body was found seated in a chair, near a suspicious plate containing a “white powdery substance.”
