Here’s How Trump Will Announce His Supreme Court Pick

President Donald Trump, who famously hosted “The Apprentice” before entering politics, has turned his pick for the Supreme Court into a must-watch primetime television event, teasing it on Twitter Monday morning.

Trump doesn’t mention a specific network, but it’s assumed his announcement will be carried by all of the networks. Trump, the self-proclaimed “ratings machine,” has repeatedly shown that he is passionate about things such as crowd size, often mentioning the viewership of cable news networks on his Twitter feed. His tweet teasing the Supreme Court selection specifically features the word “live,” giving it the feel of a television event.

Trump is so into ratings that he decided to remain the executive producer of “The Apprentice” during his presidency, but has mocked the show for low ratings under new host Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got ‘swamped’ (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT,” the “ratings machine” himself tweeted out earlier this month. “So much for being a movie star-and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1.”
