Actress and Hillary Clinton campaign surrogate Lena Dunham stars as “MC Pantsuit” in a new pro-Clinton rap video released on liberal comedy website Funny or Die Wednesday night.
“I have been so shaken by this election. It has unveiled the darkest aspects of American culture, and the racist, homophobic, ableist and xenophobic rhetoric is making me ill,” the 30-year-old Girls star tells her friends over brunch in the clip.
Dunham ultimately decides a rap video defending “the nation’s baddest grandmother” is the best way to get out the vote.
“I get upset when people say that Hillary needs to smile/She’s a strong ass f*cking person couldn’t even walk a mile/In the heels of this woman had to fight/Her life defending everything she does to the left and to the right,” Dunham raps, alongside singer Cynthia Erivo and Charlamagne tha God.
