Marie Osmond said she would absolutely say yes if asked to perform for president-elect Donald Trump’s Inauguration and that it’s “wrong” not to support him.
On Tuesday, in an interview with Yahoo Finance the 57-year-old singer admitted though she had not been yet asked to perform at the Jan. 20 ceremony, she would jump at the chance to “unite” the country.
“I think when it comes to our country we need to unite,” Osmond said. “And to not support our president… I think is wrong. I think we should.”
“I think we should all support whether we are happy or sad or everything else,” she added. “This is America. We should come together and I think an Inauguration should be a time to unite, it really should.”
