Schwarzenegger Avoids Question About Trump Presidency

Arnold Schwarzenegger did not answer a question about President Donald Trump’s viability during an interview Friday on Australia TV.

The former governor of California, who has been critical of the president, dodged the question from host Gorgi Coghlan when she asked him point-blank if he thought Trump “will last the four years,” according to the Daily Mail.

“The Arnold Classic [the event he was in Australia for], we will be here for four years, much longer,” Schwarzenegger responded. “I think for the next 400 years you will see Arnold Classic in Melbourne.” When he was done, he told the host it was a “very nice try,” noting that he did hear the question — he just wasn’t going to answer.

Trump and the former “Terminator” star have been embroiled in a bit of a feud the last few weeks. It started after the president asked for prayers for the actor over failing ratings of his former reality show “Celebrity Apprentice.” Schwarzenegger took over as the host of the show after Trump left to run for president.
