Showtime Tries to Take Trump Down With Cartoons

Viewers are about to get another satirical show about President Donald Trump.

Showtime announced Thursday that it has given a 10-episode order to a half-hour animated series that will look at the First Family of the United States and will air this fall.

The untitled series is executive produced by late-night host and political satirist Stephen Colbert and will star the animated avatars of Trump and his family.

The network describes the show as a “workplace comedy,” which takes place in the White House. It’s also an animated mockmentary, told from the perspective of an imaginary documentary crew.
