All the Left’s Conspiracy Theories About Trump’s COVID-19 Diagnosis

Liberal Americans are so distrustful of the President, that they have come up with left-field conspiracy theories about Trump faking his positive test results for his own political gain. 

Here are some of their craziest theories: 

Deep Fake

Vulture writer Mark Harris thinks the President’s staff is concealing how sick he is by editing the “coughs” out of his video to “conceal shortness of breath.”

I think we need some real reporting on whether Trump's video was edited to delete coughs, conceal shortness of breath, etc. It certainly appears that way (see 1:04, after "therapeutics"). I'm open to other explanations, but this doesn't look good.

Concealing Oxygen

One Twitter user is convinced that Trump was disguising an “oxygen concentrator” underneath his mask while he boarded Marine One.

It’s All a Distraction

CNN’s Joe Lockhart thinks the COVID-19 diagnosis was a distraction from Melania’s tapes, which were released to deter from Kimberly Guilfoyle’s recent headline.  

This is the world we live in. The Kimberly story gave us a break from the Trump the racist story. The Melania tapes gave us a break from the Kimberly story. And the Covid diagnosis gave us a break from the Melania tape story. NUTS.

Former NFL star Reggie Bush believes Trump is faking his diagnosis for an attention grab to reinvigorate his campaign. “It’s all a game and it’s all a reality tv show,” he wrote. “That’s what reality tv stars do.“

Poll Bump 

Hocus Pocus’ wicked witch Bette Midler reasons Trump’s diagnosis is an attempt to get a sympathy bump in poll ratings prior to the election.  

"The UK PM bumped up significantly in polls when it was announced he had caught the virus. Longer term polls slipped back to reflect his hideous performance & lack of competency or basic decency but a sympathy bump in ratings may hit the US just in time to impact the election."

Drop Out

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Mike Sington suggests Trump could be using his positive diagnosis as an excuse to drop out of the presidential race.  

Theory: Trump’s doctor is lying for him (again) and Trump is lying (again) about his positive COVID-19 test. He knows he’s going to lose the election and will use this as an excuse to drop out of the race.

Presidential Pardon

Ed Hull speculates that if Pence had to step in, he would be able to grant Trump a Presidential Pardon to prevent the Democrats from trying to prosecute him after Pence takes office.  

WHAT if Trump’s strategy is to use getting sick from COVID as an excuse to cease running for a second term, hoping Pence can win in his place, having negotiated a Presidential Pardon from Pence in return for dropping out of the race, to be granted right after Pence takes office.

No More Debates

Another user ludicrously posits that he’s faking his illness to get out of more debates.

Faking illness is the only way he can get out of more debates and save face. It has the added bonus of "proving" that it's just a mild cold when he doesn't become catastrophically ill. It's an insane strategy that could be their last hope.

Infecting Biden

Or more nefariously, knowingly attempting to take out Biden with the virus at the Debate.  

This is obviously an assassination attempt on Biden from team trump. They Knowingly went to that debate full of germs to Purposely infect Biden, knowing that at Bidens age covid could be fatal. Arrest them for attempted murder.

Black Widow

Mike Sington’s other theory suggests the First Lady took off her mask to infect the Biden’s during the Sept. 29 Presidential Debate.  

Melania was the only Trump family member who wore a mask during the debate, THEN SHE TOOK IT OFF WHEN SHE WENT UP ON STAGE WHERE THE BIDENS WERE. Was she purposely trying to infect Joe Biden? Don’t put it past her, she’s evil. Just listen to the tapes. pic.twitter.com/RdA3sRdML6

Hydroxychloroquine Boost

Another user speculates Trump is faking the virus to emerge two weeks later, “100% cured by hydroxychloroquine,” to inflate sales.

Trump’s October surprise will be the announcement of “his infection.” Fake, but quite dramatic. This twist will blow Biden off the screens, the “Trump COVID watch” dominating every minute of every day. Then, 14 days later, Trump will emerge, 100% cured by hydroxychloroquine.

Vaccine 

On a similar tangent, one user theorizes the President is using his diagnosis to push the vaccine he announced.  

Timing is suspect.

Mike Pence announced a vaccine within weeks. Now Trump and Melania are positive for Covid-19.

Will they get the vaccine? October surprise?

If not, Trump exposed a ton of people, KNOWINGLY, in NJ. He knew Hoax Hicks was sick. #Heknew.
