President Biden’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens, thinks the Duchess of Sussex should go into U.S. politics despite her royal status.

Biden Owens, 76, told “Good Morning Britain” that Meghan Markle would make a “good” presidential candidate in the future.

“It’s wonderful to have women in politics,” she commented. “The more women we have, the better our democratic system will work, with a better point of view, a different point of view and we embrace all women. We welcome [Markle] to come in and join the Democratic Party.”

When asked if the former “Suits” star would make a “good” potential commander-in-chief, Biden-Owens said, “Yes, perhaps. Of course she will.”

Markle, who gave up the British monarch’s “Her Royal Highness” title, when she and Prince Harry resigned from their roles as senior royals in 2020 and fled to California, has been meddling in American politics since returning to the States.

The former “Deal or No Deal” suitcase model wrote an open letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), urging them to make paid leave a reality for American workers in late 2021.

“Paid leave should be a national right, rather than a patchwork option limited to those whose employers have policies in place, or those who live in one of the few states where a leave program exists,” she implored.

“If we’re going to create a new era of family first policies, let’s make sure that includes a strong paid leave program for every American that’s guaranteed, accessible, and encouraged without stigma or penalty.”

Former President Donald Trump said Markle was “trying to do things that I think are very inappropriate” in December.

“I’m not a fan of hers. I wasn’t from day one. I think Harry has been used horribly and I think some day he will regret it,” Trump remarked. “I think Harry’s been used and been used terribly. I think it’s ruined his relationship with his family, and it hurts the Queen.”
