Britney Spears’ ex-husband of 55 hours was arrested for trespassing at her home, where she was getting married to Sam Asghari on Thursday.

Jason Alexander, 40, was taken into custody by Ventura County Sheriffs at 2:32 p.m. on “two counts of misdemeanor battery, one count of misdemeanor vandalism and one count of misdemeanor trespassing.”

Spears’ former fling live-streamed his attempt to disrupt the wedding, and made it into her home and the tent set up for the event, before security guards forcibly had to remove him.

“Don’t put your hands on me. Please don’t put your hands on me,” was seen on Instagram Live telling security guards “Hey, where’s Britney? I’m her first husband. I’m here to crash her wedding.”

Alexander, who was allegedly armed with a knife, was booked into Ventura County Jail on Thursday night, and his bail was set at $22,500. Spears’ lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, fumed about the intrusion.

“This was an outrageous security breach, which I am livid about, but fortunately Britney is safe and she was a stunning and happy bride,” he told Page Six. “I’m working closely with law enforcement to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Alexander, whose Las Vegas wedding to the popstar was annulled after 55 hours in 2004, has reportedly “continuously trespassed” on his former flame’s property, and has been caught lurking outside of her relatives homes.

He has previously been arrested for stalking an unidentified woman and violating the order of protection she filed against him. He is currently on a year-long probationary period after pleading guilty to the charges in January. Alexander was also arrested for driving under the influence and violating airport security protocols in 2021.

Spears and Asghari were granted an Emergency Protective Order against Alexander on Friday.
