The notorious anti-Trump pop star Cher has now been forced to apologize after she was slammed for having a ‘white savior complex’ over a bizarre comment she made in which she stated she believes that she would have somehow been able to prevent George Floyd’s death.
Cher reportedly tweeted the bizarre statement during the ongoing murder trial of Derek Chauvin for Floyd’s death on Friday.
As The New York Post reports:

Many people online accused her of white privilege and being tone deaf.
“The size of your white savior complex is overwhelming,” wrote one Twitter user.
But the singer doubled down on her tweet Saturday, insisting that she had the experience to intervene in the fatal police encounter.

Like so many “famous” people, they think they have the power to fix everything and anything.
It could have sounded “racist” but I think it was more of the flat out “god” complex so many of the rich and famous believe they have.
Unless she could have stopped him from taking the drugs, there was nothing else anyone could have done.

Floyd killed himself , like so many other drug addicts . Chauvin was just doing his job. He is entitled to a fair unbiased trial and not subject to the intimidation of the lynch mob.

There is no reason for the knee on the neck for such a long period of time. He did not commit suicide. Chauvin took his authority too far. They could have zip tied him (hands and ankles) and taken him to a hospital. Once he complained of not being able to breathe an ambulance should have been called. This is outrageous and never should have happened. Yes Floyd was full of drugs up to his eyeballs, his life should not have ended with a knee on his neck regardless. Maybe the drugs did kill him but the knee didnt help only made it worse.

Today a police officer who trains other officers how to detain and control safely by using such knee maneuver, noted that it even looked like “Chauvin’s” knee was on Floyds “shoulder blade” for part of the time… Coroners REPORT “no bruising on Floyd’s neck.” Impossible to fatally choke a guy out without bruising him, if said pressure was what killed him. George was a 4x + FELON and was complaining he couldn’t breath in the back of the squad car, with NOBODY TOUCHING HIM! Previous arrest he complained of the SAME THING not shown at this trial.
Symptoms of fentanyl abuse are: euphoria, drowsiness, lethargy and mellowness. Might as well add to that trouble breathing!
Floyd was on his way out PERIOD. It is unfortunate his scapegoat is/was Chauvin, turned in to a big payday for every black looter out there, and the Floyd worthless loser family settlement of $27 million!!

The knee did not kill Floyd he died as a result of his drug overdose. They had called emergency medical but they took too long. Are they not at least partially responsible? Just because the appearance was terrible doesn’t mean Chauvin is a killer.

Sorry Robert, but while I don’t like Cher as a person and I think she really did a horrible acting and singing job in the Mama Mia 2, Sonny and Cher’s music (and even when she went out on her own) was good music.
