Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey thanked Texas Governor Greg Abbott for mentioning being vaccinated in an announcement about his COVID-19 status.
“I am now testing negative for Covid,” Abbott posted to Twitter last week. “I am told that my infection was brief & mild because of the vaccination I received. I will continue to quarantine as recommended by doctors. And, I will keep working on issues affecting Texas. God bless you all. And God bless Texas.”
McConaughey replied to the tweet to wish him good health and praise Abbott for noting that he had an abbreviated version of the virus due to being vaccinated.
“Glad you’re now testing negative for Covid Governor Abbott. Thank you for mentioning that “the vaccination you received made your infection brief and mild.” Health to you, Cecilia, Texas, and beyond,” he commented.
The actor concluded his tweet with “mask, vax and just keep livin,” a COVID-related remix on his often-quoted line from 1993’s “Dazed and Confused,” where his character gives a high school student the advice to “just keep livin.’
McConaughey, who has publicly mulled over the idea of running for Texas governor himself, reminded the public that he already has a job in Austin, as the University of Texas’ Minister of Culture.
The actor released a Twitter video on Wednesday, where he addressed what the Minister of Culture actually does. “I want to champion certain guiding principles… The soul of Austin, that are the soul of the University of Texas,” he remarked. “Here we go,” he announced to commemorate the beginning of the college football season on Saturday.

All well and good, but what about all the VAXXERS WHO KEEP GETTING REINFECTED WITH COVID while their co-workers, who never got the jab, stay healthy? What about that Matthew?

1). How come VAXXERS RATE OF RE-INFECTION IS MUCH HIGHER THAN ANTI-VAXXERS??
Answer: because anti-VAXXERS do not have mRNA floating around in their bodies to destroy parts of their Immune system that fights off infections!
2). What is in those shots that weakens the immune systems of Vaxxers so it cannot fight off the viruses? It’s the mRNA in the shots that has NEVER BEEN TESTED ON HUMANS BEFORE THAT IS IMPACTING AND CHANGING THE IMMUNE RESPONSE WHEN A VIRUS ATTACKS THE HUMAN BODY.

If you got the vaccine, good for you. If you didn’t get the vaccine, good for you. I don’t care what other people choose to do, BUT I sure as heck don’t like it when they tell me what I have to do. Where are all the libs touting “My Body, My Choice”? (crickets).
