Rapper Lil Wayne said Trump ‘can get it done’ after meeting with President Trump to discuss the administration’s Platinum Plan for black America.
Wayne, 38, born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., posted a photo of himself and the president giving the thumbs up sign in front of three American flags. “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus,” he wrote.
Wayne met with Trump in Miami, and had nothing but praise for the incumbent and his plans for the next term. “Besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership.”
The Platinum Plan promises “to deliver greater opportunity, security, prosperity, and fairness to their communities,” by increasing “access to capital, fuel Black owned businesses, cut taxes, increase education opportunities, lower the cost of healthcare,” and further criminal justice reform.”
The “Lollipop” rapper wrote that President Trump “listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”

Rapper Ice Cube, who developed a “Contract With Black America” to address racial inequality, worked alongside the administration to outline points within the administration’s proposal, such as making Juneteenth a National Holiday, prosecuting the KKK as terrorist organizations, and making lynching a national hate crime.
Recently prominent rappers 50 Cent and Lil Pump switched allegiances to the Trump campaign after Biden’s tax plan proposed a steep increase in taxes. “Yeah, I don’t want to be 20 cent,” 50 Cent tweeted.
“All I gotta say is Trump 2020, b–-h,” Lil Pump said in an Instagram live video. “F–k I look like paying an extra 33 in tax for Biden. F–k Sleepy Joe.”
