Biden Considering Appointing Disney CEO as Ambassador to China

Joe Biden is now reportedly considering appointing Disney CEO Bob Iger to the crucial role as US ambassador to China, in spite of the fact that the company was recently on record praising the totalitarian regime.

Disney has also been heavily criticized for it’s eagerness to submit to Chinese censorship of its products in exchange for access to China’s massive consumer market.

As Yahoo News reports:

The news comes as Disney’s extensive footprint in China has drawn criticism in the U.S. In particular, the company’s live-action remake of Mulan contained segments shot in Xinjiang, where the Chinese Communist Party has imprisoned over a million Uyghurs and other Muslims in concentration camps and has conducted a forced-sterilization campaign on Uyghur women.

The credits to Mulan thank entities in the CCP including the party’s propaganda commission in Xinjiang as well as a branch of the Xinjiang public security bureau. The latter entity has a role in operating the concentration camps, while the propaganda commission has justified the operation of the camps.

While the coronavirus pandemic has made a dent on Disney’s business in China, the company had invested in theme parks and movie productions in the country in recent years, including a Disney theme park in Shanghai. It isn’t clear if Iger’s knowledge of and experience in China was a factor in the Biden team’s considerations. Iger is a donor to Biden’s campaign, and gave $250,000 to the Biden Victory Fund during election season.

In October 2019, Iger declined to take a position on the pro-democracy protests then roiling Hong Kong, citing Disney’s business interests. China has since applied a sweeping national security law to the formerly autonomous territory, and arrested protesters and proponents of autonomy.

Disney isn’t Disney today anymore than the Democrat party is democratic even the way FDR knew it….which is saying quite a lot. Those two are holding hands with Communism and are complicit with Communism’s promise to “assist” America’s leaders with socialism until americans will wake up one day and find they were all Communists. Evidently that day is now. Georgian Americans, wake up and vote American values unless you want Beijing Joe to run your (our) lives.

…….AND I did part of Army training in Georgia at a time when Georgia was still American. Georgians, do you really want to change that? You will change that if you allow Beijing Biden to do what he wants.

The entire Biden Family is owned by the Red Chinese. He is about to turn D.C. into Beijing West. Also if the Republican retain control of the Senate first order of business should be to replace McConnell as majority head with Ted Cruz. Elaine Chow McConnell is a member of the Chow Family in China which is in business with the Red Chinese Government and ties their fortune to Red China. Besides being weak, McConnell has financial ties to China even if they are in his Wife’s name.

Georgia’s residents hold the future of the Senate for the next 4 years. Please get out and vote. If nothing else, do it for President Trump.

I think that is very appropriate that Biden wants the head of Disney to join his cabinet, for the list of clowns that Biden has selected the head of Disney would be perfect. He will feel right at home joining another Mickey Mouse organization. Unfortunately it will not be nearly as fun to watch.
