A medical journal published a study about surgeons posting unprofessional content on their social media channels. The article cited provocatively posing in bikinis and consuming alcohol as examples of the type of content doctors should not be posting.
Some angry female doctors weren’t taking it lying down, however. And decided to protest the bizarre medical advice by posting pictures of themselves doing just that.

One of the authors of the study apologized on Twitter in a since deleted post. Thomas Cheng said the objective of the study was to “empower surgeons to be aware and then personally decide what may be easily available for patients and colleagues to see about us.”

The #medbikini hashtag sent a message to the editors of The Journal of Vascular Surgery, they retracted the article and publicly apologized.

If I’m sick or need medical care I could give a sh*t less what they look like if they are competent Doctors, their sex or looks don’t account for the knowledge they have.
None of my doctors ever look like them, I feel like I’ve been gypped.
