Former President Donald Trump and his son Donald Jr. will provide ringside commentary at the Evander Holyfield/Vitor Belfort fight on Saturday.

“I love great fighters and great fights. I look forward to seeing both this Saturday night and sharing my thoughts ringside. You won’t want to miss this special event,” Trump said in an announcement for the event.

Both Trumps will be at the Hollywood, Florida event, and will provide an alternate feed that will be available for on pay-per-view on FITE.TV for $49.99.

The four-bout card, which includes Anderson Silva vs. Tito Ortiz. David Haye vs. Joe Fournier and Andy Vences vs. Jono Carroll, was originally supposed to be headlined by Oscar de la Hoya.

De la Hoya was set to challenge Vitor Belfort, a former UFC champion, but he was forced to skip the event due to his diagnosis with COVID-19 and subsequent hospitalization.

When 58-year-old former heavyweight champ, Holyfield, stepped in as de la Hoya’s replacement, the fight card was forced to change venues to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida, after the California State Athletic Commission would not approve the fight due to his advanced age.

The liberal media is not thrilled that the former president will be the fight’s commentator on the anniversary of 9/11.

“Sometimes there’s news you want to wait a whole week before tweeting because it just has to be a parody no matter how many organizations confirm it,” tweeted NBC News’ Benjy Sarlin.

“[D]onald [T]rump, a former president, calling a boxing match on the anniversary of 9/11 is one of the purest distillations of americana [I]’ve seen,” remarked Quartz writer Scott Nover.

“While Biden plans to commemorate the 20th anniversary of 9/11 by visiting the 3 crash sites – Trump is charging $50 a pop to hear him & Don Jr gibber on boxing,” wrote another.

Late night host Jimmy Kimmel panned Trump for attending the event.

“Saturday it happens to be the 20th Anniversary of the attack on 9/11. On Saturday, President Bush will visit a memorial to 9/11 in Pennsylvania; President Obama will visit the 9/11 memorial in New York, President Biden plans to visit all three crash sites,” Kimmel said.

“Donald Trump… Will be at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, doing “live in person commentary” for a boxing match between Vitor Belfort, and 58-year-old Evander Holyfield,” he continued.

“You really- you have to hand it to him. He is the greatest troll of all time,” Kimmel concluded. “I mean, who else could have come up with this? ‘You know what I’ll do on 9/11? Boxing commentary.’ ‘You’ve done it again, sir!’”
