Bruce Springsteen blasted President Donald Trump’s immigration ban as “un-American” during a concert in Adelaide, Australia on Monday.
The 67-year-old rocker has recently been very outspoken against the president. During the concert he shouted that he stood with those Americans protesting at airports across the country against the executive order Trump signed on Friday that temporarily prohibits immigrants from seven countries from entering the United States for at least 90 days.
“Tonight we want to add our voice to the thousands of Americans who are protesting at airports around our country the Muslim ban and the detention of foreign nationals and refugees,” Springsteen announced to the crowd. “America is a nation of immigrants. This is fundamentally un-American.”
“This is an immigrants song.”
