Christie Brinkley Just Posed in a Bikini—At Age 63

Age won’t stop Christie Brinkley from wearing revealing swimsuits.

The 63-year-old former supermodel and her two daughters — Alexa, 31 and Sailor, 18 — are all featured on the pages of this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. The magazine released a teaser photo Monday night where all three women pose while wearing black bikinis on the beaches of Turks and Caicos. Brinkley was hesitant about getting back in a swimsuit in front of the cameras.

“My first thought was, ‘At my age? No way!’ When I turned 30, I was like, ‘This is the last time I’m posing in a bathing suit!’” Brinkley said. “But to get to do it with my girls, I thought, ‘One last go!’”

“This is a real full circle moment for me,” she added.

“This is a real full circle moment for me,” @christiebrinkley said through tears on set. “I can get very emotional about this. How many years ago, I was that insecure girl hoping that I would be good enough for the magazine. So to see my daughters now having the same thoughts I had, and to be able to see them actually be there on the job, was definitely a big moment.”
