Did Justin Timberlake Break the Law in the Voting Booth?

Justin Timberlake could be in trouble for taking a photo of himself at the ballot box and sharing it with his 37.1 million followers.

The 35-year-old singer on Monday flew some 1,700 miles from Los Angeles to Memphis to vote early in the 2016 election. Timberlake took a picture standing by the ballot box and encouraged others to get out and vote.

In Tennessee, it is against the law for voters to take pictures or videos inside polling places, The Associated Press reports.

“Hey! You! Yeah, YOU! I just flew from LA to Memphis to #rockthevote,” Timberlake wrote in the caption next to the photo. “No excuses, my good people! There could be early voting in your town too.”
