Rapper Distances Himself From Black Lives Matter

Lil Wayne is distancing himself from the Black Lives Matter movement.

Asked about his thoughts regarding Black Lives Matter during an interview on “Nightline” Tuesday, the rapper responded to the reporter, “What is it? What do you mean?”

“It just sounds weird,” he said. “I don’t know — to put a name on it. It’s not a name. It’s not whatever, whatever. It’s somebody got shot by police for a f***ed up reason.”

“I am a young black rich man,” he continued. “If that don’t let you know that America understand black lives motherfuckering matter these days, I don’t know what it is. Don’t come at me with that dumb shit, ma’am. My life matter, especially to my bitches.”
