The White House requested that Dr. Mehmet Oz exit his post on the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition, but he refused to resign over Biden’s “fear-mongering.”

Dr. Oz, who is running for the U.S. Senate as a Republican out of Pennsylvania, and fellow Republican Hershal Walker, who is campaigning for a Senate seat in Georgia, both received letters requesting their dismissal.

They were ordered to submit their resignation by the end of the day on Wednesday, or face immediate termination.

“President Trump appointed me to two terms on the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition,” Dr. Oz tweeted. “The White House just emailed me demanding my resignation by the end of the day.”

“Clearly, Joe Biden can’t be around anyone who doesn’t completely fall in line with his fear-mongering authoritarian one-size-fits-all COVID handling. I am proud of my service and will not resign,” he added, along with a partially redacted image of the letter.

“On behalf of President Biden, I am writing to request your resignation as a Member of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition. Please submit your resignation to me by the close of business today. Should we not receive your resignation, your position with the Council will be terminated effective 6:00 pm tonight. Thank you,” the letter read.

Dr. Oz also included a reaction video to the President’s demand. “It’s beyond sad that Joe Biden would politicize such an important issue like health,” he stated. “In fact, let me offer a suggestion… The doctor he should ask to resign is Dr. Anthony Fauci, for a multitude of obvious reasons.”

“With that said, I am beyond grateful to President Trump for appointing me to this very prestigious and important position,” he continued.

Dr. Oz went on to slam Biden for trying to oust him, instead of prioritizing “record high energy prices,” surging inflation, and the crisis in Ukraine.

“I’ve got no intention, my friends, of resigning, none. If President Biden wants to politicize health, he’ll have to fire me and let Americans see how truly petty and policial he truly is.
