Michael Moore Gets Panned For Comparing Capitol Rioters To Taliban

Liberal documentarian Michael Moore was slammed on Twitter for trying to make a connection between the Taliban taking over Afghanistan’s presidential palace to rioters swarming the Capitol building on January 6th.

Moore tweeted dueling photos of Taliban insurrectionists posing with guns at the presidential palace in capital city Kabul, above Viking guy “Q Shaman” and other rioters wearing red MAGA caps and carrying a “Trump is my President” flag along with the Old Glory in the U.S. Capitol.

“Their Taliban, our Taliban, everybody’s got a Taliban,” the “Bowling For Columbine” filmmaker wrote. “They’re at their best when they confiscate the halls of power.”

Social media users were quick to knock Moore down a few pegs. “Thanks for making the perfect case as to why January 6 wasn’t an insurrection,” political comedian Tim Young wrote.

“So by this analogy, the Taliban will be gone in about 3 hours and then Afghanistan will certify the results of a democratic election?” Shot back another.

“Funny because I see a lot of guns in the top picture and simply a bunch of flags in the bottom,” one user replied. “Spin it how you like though I guess.”

“There’s a big difference between a few hundred wahoos sitting in the capitol for a few hours vs a substantially armed militia overthrowing and expelling a government,” another commiserated.

A day prior, Moore wrote, “Kabul, Saigon. The fall, once again. America loses another war. Our longest war. “We’re #1!!” We spent over $2 trillion. We sacrificed over 2,300 American lives to invade a country where Bin Laden was never, nowhere, to be found. Bush said he had no interest in capturing him.”

“Once again, we have been defeated by an army with no bomber planes, no destroyers, no missiles, no helicopters, no napalm,” he continued. “Just a bunch of guys in pickup trucks. We haven’t won an actual war in the defense of this country since WWII. 76 years ago today…”

Many people thought that Michael Moore had eaten himself to death a long time ago and now a nasty surprise that he is still taking up valuable space and spewing that dastardly global warming carbon dioxide!

This reminds me too much of Benghazi, but yes Saigon is there as well, which means that we have lost the last 3 wars that we have fought……..And it always happens when we have some God Awful guy in office, who had NO right being there and NOT knowing what the Hell he was doing………….Right now we can only hope and pray for all those left behind……….

I can’t believe that Michael Moore is still relevant enough to quote. What Moore has brought to light is what an actual insurrection is compared to an unarmed protest that got out of hand. I’m thinking we should start spelling the derogatory term for someone who is really stupid to Mooreon.
